Thomas Knudsen, Chief Executive Officer

Thomas Knudsen has a background as bachelor of science in economics and business administration, as well as a master of science in business administration and auditing from Aarhus School of Business. In addition to this, Thomas has a background as state authorized public accountant.
Thomas worked as accountant and auditor in KPMG from 1994 to 2001. From 2001 to the end of 2004 he was local serviceline leader in Arthur Andersen's, later Deloitte's, Business Process Outsourcing department in Århus.
During the last two years he was partner in Deloitte and part of the Danish Business Process Outsourcing leadership team.
Thomas' primary skills are within business development, economics, business administration and accounting.
Bjarne Knudsen, Chief Scientific Officer

Bjarne has a minor in mathematics, a minor in chemistry, and a major in molecular biology from the University of Aarhus. Bjarne achieved his Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics in 2002 with Jotun Hein as advisor.
From 2001 to 2004, Bjarne lived in Florida, where he worked at the University of Florida in Gainesville. From late 2002 until the end of 2004, he did a post doc in the lab of prof. Michael M. Miyamoto at the University of Florida. The last two years funded by a grant from the Carlsberg Foundation.
During his last 6 years of work, Bjarne has worked with the development and implementation of a large number of bioinformatics algorithms, including RNA structure prediction, protein functional studies, protein and DNA evolution, studies of HIV, population genetics, and other areas. One of Bjarne's specialities is molecular evolution.
Bjarne has authored or co-authored 20 scientific papers in international renowned journals, covering a wide range of subjects within the field of bioinformatics.
